Lake District
A few weekends ago, Matt and I joined another couple of our friends on a quick weekend trip to the Lake District. The weather forecast wasn’t promising, but we pressed on regardless, and ended up enjoying a beautiful couple of days on the shores of Lake Windermere, where we stayed and explored around Bowness-on-Windermere. We spent time on boats, viewing the area from the lake, and enjoyed views of the “classic” green, rolling hill countryside of England.
